The Meaning of R.E.S.P.E.C.T. in the Public Service

Description

Microaggressions are an often subtle form of disrespect targeted towards traditionally underrepresented communities and equity-deserving groups such as LGBTQ2+, religious minorities, and people with disabilities. Public servants need to be aware of microaggressions in the workplace, and how to address them.

Presented in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency, this event features a dynamic and diverse panel that will speak to the topic of respect in the federal public service workplace.

Join the event as panellists discuss the progress they have seen in relation to the obligations set out in the Clerk's Call to Action on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion in the Federal Public Service. A Q&A period will follow the panellists' remarks.
