Successful Project Management: Learning from the 2016 Census

Successful Project Management: Learning from the 2016 Census

The 2016 Census had a record response rate of 98%. Approximately 35,000 people were mobilized to obtain vital demographic, economic and social metrics on the Canadian population. An operation of this scale must be supported by a solid project management foundation.

Drawing on his experience of the 2016 Census, our speaker will discuss large-scale project management as well as principles that apply to every type of project. He will use specific examples from the Census to illustrate what works, what doesn't and what we can do to refine our processes.
