A Dynamic Discussion with the Clerk about Policy for a Diverse and Inclusive Future

A Dynamic Discussion with the Clerk about Policy for a Diverse and Inclusive Future

Join Michael Wernick, Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet, for a dynamic and engaging discussion on policy for a diverse and inclusive future with Canada Beyond 150 participants.

Canada Beyond 150 is designed on the principle that a consciously diverse and inclusive approach to policy development will enable better and more innovative methods, generate stronger analyses and yield better outcomes.

Through the project, a group of early-career public servants from across Canada are exploring issues relating to reconciliation, open and transparent government, socio-economic inclusion, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and feminist government. They're experimenting with various policy tools including foresight analysis, design thinking and direct engagement as a model for policy development in these areas.

This session promises to yield insights on issues in diversity and inclusion, important policy questions and the policy skill set of the future. You're invited to listen in as the Clerk engages with these themes and approaches and to connect with your peers on social media.
