Gender-based Analysis Plus Awareness Week 2022: GBA Plus in Action - Opening Event

Description

Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) Awareness Week (May 9 to 13, 2022) provides an opportunity for public servants to learn more about GBA Plus and how this analytical process is used to explore the changing realities and inequalities of diverse groups of people. The theme for this 10th iteration of GBA Plus Awareness Week is #GBAPlusinAction, which highlights how the systematic application of GBA Plus can lead to more responsive and inclusive policies, programs and initiatives.

This first of three events brings together Deputy Ministers from across the federal public service to share their perspectives on GBA Plus and discuss the importance of this process in advancing government priorities in line with public service values. Participants will learn more about the strategic focus of GBA Plus in the federal government and its future directions.

This event is presented in partnership with Women and Gender Equality Canada.
